Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food & Beverage Service Manager to oversee daily operations in a bustling restaurant or hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food service knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality service to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all food and beverage operations, including food, serving, and bar services
- Oversee food handling procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage POS systems such as Squirrel for order processing and cash handling
- Lead, train, and mentor team members to uphold service standards and foster a positive work environment
- Interview and hire new staff members, providing ongoing training and performance evaluations
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of supplies
- Enforce health and safety regulations across the restaurant, kiosks & dining areas
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure overall guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining areas in accordance with hospitality standards
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations within the establishment
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in food service or restaurant management roles
- Previous Supervisory, server, bartender. management skills an asset
- Experience operating POS systems such as Squirrel or similar platforms
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and restaurant management best practices
- Previous restaurant experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility within the food industry
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Prior experience in interviewing, hiring, and training staff members is preferred
