Ross Place is seeking a Food Services Manager who is able to work in a fast-paced team environment. Reporting to the General Manager and Culinary Services Specialist, the Food Services Manager’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Providing outstanding customer service and overall leadership, and management of the dining services
- Food preparation and service
- Accurate delivery of dietary modifications
- Procurement, financial and budgetary management
- Labor management, hiring, supervising and training team members
- Ensuring proper sanitation and safe food handling
- Accurate record keeping, inventory and rotation of products
- Regulatory compliance
- Communicating with residents and families to ensure high levels of resident satisfaction

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree or diploma in: Food and Nutrition Management, Business Administration, or Hotel and Restaurant Management
- Minimum of one year experience in front of house and customer service.
- Prior labour relations experience preferred.
- Previous experience working with seniors is considered an asset.
- Current Food Safe certificate and WHMIS Certificate.
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities to use time efficiently.
- Must be dependable, respond to management direction, and must be able to provide performance through feedback.
- Must pass a Criminal Record Check for working with Vulnerable Adults.
- Tuberculin skin test completed within probationary period.

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
