Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for a Diet Technician / Supervisor to join the Food Services team at Cedarview Lodge. Apply today to join our team!

 

As a Diet Technician / Supervisor, you will:

  • Utilize a variety of current computerized applications, including diet order management programs, a computerized client care information system as well as current word processing, spreadsheet, and database software applications, to receive, process and interpret diet orders, and be responsible for meeting time sensitive diet administration duties, ensuring nutrition and diet standards are met.
  • Perform various related administrative duties and may perform supervisory duties as required for the site.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Eligibility for certification with the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management (CSNM) plus one year’s recent, related experience.
  • Food Safe Certificate 1.

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to deal with others effectively.
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
  • Ability to operate related equipment.
  • Ability to organize work.
  • Ability to supervise.
