What You’ll Do: Lead and inspire a team to deliver excellent service and care. Organize schedules and daily workflow to keep things running smoothly. Mentor and coach staff to reach their full potential. Build strong relationships with team members, residents/clients, and families. Support staff development through training and feedback. Promote a safe, respectful, and positive workplace culture.

Required Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 diploma.
  • Completion of a 2-year Food Service Management course or equivalent management training.
  • WHMIS certification.
  • Membership in: Canadian Society of Nutrition Management (CSNM). Canadian Association of Food Service Professionals (CAFP).
  • Working knowledge of collective agreements.
  • Food Safe Certification.
  • 2+ years supervisory; 3+ years healthcare-related experience.
  • Scheduling, quality audits, customer relations. Office software (Windows, email, scheduling tools). Communication, organization, teamwork, time management. Dietary guidelines and food services terminology.
