Position Overview

As the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of cafeteria food services across multiple schools within a district. You will ensure high-quality food service, compliance with health and safety standards, and efficient management of resources while fostering a positive work environment for staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of cafeteria services across the district.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise cafeteria managers and staff at each school location.
• Monitor compliance with BC food service regulations.
• Oversee inventories, and ensure cost-effective operations.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality control and address any operational issues.
• Plan and implement training programs for cafeteria staff.
• Step into a hands-on role when necessary, including filling in for staff during shortages.

Qualifications:

• Experience in Food Service Management, Hospitality, Nutrition, and Leadership (preferred).
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple locations and teams effectively.
• Must have a valid Drivers License and personal vehicle.
• Must hold a valid Food Safe Certificate.
• Ability to pass a criminal record check.

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
