Operations Manager

Select Contracts – Fraser Valley Regional District, BC

Join an exciting and dynamic team at Select Contracts, a global developer and operator of adventure and recreation projects. We are seeking a skilled professional to assume the responsibilities of Operations Manager at one of our managed surf projects at the end of the Fraser Valley outside Vancouver, British Columbia. The position will be in charge of a fast paced F&B Operation and a state of the art surf park operation and a spa. Responsibilities

Food and Beverage Management:

  • Help lead the pre-opening of the F&B Operation
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to enhance the overall food and beverage offerings.
  • Ensure high-quality service standards are maintained, and customer satisfaction is consistently met.
  • Oversee menu planning, pricing, and inventory management to optimize profitability.

General Management:

  • Provide forward-thinking leadership to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including staffing, scheduling, and financial performance.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.
  • Implement and monitor policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Customer Experience:

  • Uphold a culture of exceptional customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Proactively address customer feedback and implement improvements as needed.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and recommend changes to enhance the overall customer experience.

Surf Park & Spa:

  • Pre-opening of the surf and spa components

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a management role within the food and beverage industry is a must.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.In-depth knowledge of food and beverage trends, industry regulations, and customer preferences in British Columbia.
  • Financial acumen and experience in budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ideally a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in attractions and spa operations would be a benefit

Job Type: Full-time
